Purple Clouds

Commonly known as Texas Rangers, Texas Sages or Purple Sages,
perhaps another name for these shrubs could be Purple Clouds.

Lovely series and very nice macro on image 2. I'll have to look closer at ours the next time we're there, to notice the detail. I think they're one of the prettiest flowering desert plants.
