Shadow Shots - Downtown

Here are some shadow shots from when we were downtown in Tucson for the running event a few weeks ago. I just received a summons for jury duty, so it looks like I'll have an opportunity to visit downtown again in December. :D

    Diane, I can only agree with Jen, your shots are always fantastic and you outdid yourself today and particularly with the 'waiting'. Caught something that feels a bit sad, wistful and it's marvelous!

    The twin lamps offer a fine shadow. The stucco building evokes the old look, the lamppost adds a modern touch.

    The gentleman waiting is sitting under the shadow as protection from the Sonora desert sun. Yet the necessity of the shade makes for an artistic view. Nice captures!

    We might not aware of what we are doing, or trying to hide soemthing from people, but our shadow always tell the truth.

    The shadows of the first photo,and the windows as background forms good pattern. The last photo with strips like shadows looks nice.

    You have some great captures here.I love the shadows of the lamppost. So symmetrical. In the thumbs up one it took me a minute to see the shadow. The ps
    pensive man is taking refuge from the sun, I guess.
