The drive along the way to the museum is scenic too. I thought the sky looked pretty that day, these clouds reminding me of wildflowers:

Have a great week!
Hi Diane, Great pictures from the museum --and along the way... Love that first picture of the succulents. Gorgeous! As I've said, Arizona is beautiful especially this time of year.
ReplyDeleteWe are home from our 2nd trip is a month--and both of us have colds.. Yuk! Guess it will be REST for this upcoming week for both of us.
Hugs,
Betsy
One of my favorite places !
ReplyDeleteReally love the third photo of the wildflowers.
cheers, parsnip
All the photos are very beautiful but I think that the one of the bobcat is my favourite. What a gorgeous animal.
ReplyDeleteDiane, I love your shots!! Nice work!
ReplyDeleteAll great but especially transfixed by the Bobcat...wow. I need to get there again soon to see everything blooming. Our new house is only about 10 minutes from the ASDM which is exciting and I expect I will explore it's treasures often. ;-)
ReplyDeleteI'll have to post my bird photos from the museum tomorrow (thanks for the nudge). We only got as far as the aviary and the underground exhibit. They're right - it really requires several days to see everything there and we just didn't have the time. Oh well, a good excuse to go back to Arizona!
ReplyDeleteGorgeous shots....I love the bobcat. I have never seen one up close. beautiful animal. I need to pay that museum a visit.
ReplyDeleteIt looks So summery. What a great museum. Seems like it would take a while to explore. I really like that cactus wren almost doing the splits.
ReplyDeleteThe desert wildflowers are a wonderful sign of spring! You got some great photos - I love the saguaro cacti.
ReplyDeleteVery nice displays. I'll bet the trails are fun to explore, too.
ReplyDeleteI didn't know aloe was so colorful!
The aloe blooms are super beautiful!! Those penstemons are exceptional also. Wondrous things indeed :-D
ReplyDeleteI have fallen in love with your place since a long time ago.
ReplyDeleteLove the cactus wren doing the splits. :)
ReplyDeleteThose are such beautiful photos! I love that photo of the bobcat most and the prairie dogs! but I do love them all...
ReplyDeleteGreat scenes from the desert Dianne.
ReplyDeleteCostas
Gorgeous photos of your area, Diane! The orange Mexican honeysuckles are beautiful!
ReplyDeleteNo matter where you go, you come back with such awesome photos. I went to this place for the first time last year. It's such a lovely walk!
ReplyDeleteI love your shots from Arizona.they are beautiful..Have a nice day
ReplyDeletethese are all very interesting!

beautiful images Diane, and as always, very diverse, am always loving the desert more with your photos.
ReplyDeleteThere just isn't anything quiet so lovely as the dessert in full bloom. Stillness is the always unseen resident in any dessert photo. Then a bird chirps. A rock is skittered over. Or lightning explodes on the sky.
ReplyDeleteI love the idea of a desert "museum" rather than botanical garden with attached zoo. Lovely shots which make me want to visit!!
ReplyDeleteI am missing each single view... except for the bobcat. I never saw too many of them so they are the ones I am missing the least.
ReplyDeleteReally nice pics.
Great set of pics. Loved the wild boar, bobcat & bighorn sheep. The flowers & cactii are exquisite
ReplyDeleteOne of my very favorite places to visit in Tucson. Love the bobcat. We have a photo of two of them relaxing on a ledge there. It looks like it is smiling for you. :-)
ReplyDeleteBonitas fotografías del desierto, un lugar estupendo.
ReplyDeleteSaludos cordiales, desde España.
