I am amazed by all the wonderful birds this year. I don't feed the birds, to many ground critters to attack my home but my fountain is always on for some water. The last photo is quite spectacular. Looks like a the bird is trying to do a triple flip with 2 1/2 turns.
Now that verdin shot is precious! Great birds pics eating all the saguaro fruit! Yum! I think it's pretty tasty as well. Get ready to enjoy the rain.....it's coming:) Are you excited? I might get my first lightening shot with the camera!!! Have a great fourth!
Saguaros must be a great host to all these birds.
ReplyDeleteAnd it is always busy to a host.

You have so many beautiful birds in the desert. I just love how they just sat on top of the cactus tree like that.
ReplyDeleteGreat photos. The saguaro fruit 'mouths' are a bit scary though! ;-)
ReplyDeleteThe pyrrhuloxia: my favorite! I don't think I saw any...

ReplyDeleteGreat job capturing all these saguaro visitors! Everybody loves the fruit, and who can blame them?!
ReplyDeleteThe verdin is my favorite! I wish I could see one of the pyrrhuloxia...wish I could pronounce it too. :)
ReplyDeleteLove all of those birds, Diane... They are so different from ours. That Pyrrhuloxia is beautiful!!!! Thanks for sharing.
