Weekend Reflections - Birdbath

I enjoy taking pictures of reflections in water, but they can be a challenge to find here in the desert. However, today I noticed a pleasant surprise in the birdbath in my patio.

It wasn't a reflection of a bird, although it would be nice to capture one sometime.

When I zoomed in, I noticed my neighbor's tree has lemons on it. So my weekend reflection is lemons in the birdbath.

Birthbath is very clever (and pretty reflection)! And I love seeing lemons green and yello next to each other.

Beautiful reflection, Diane, and a fruitful one too :-)

There might be just enough water there, add a lemon or two...

Works well as a low key image -- even without the bird.

I like your reflections. Must be time to make lemonade. ;-)
I never think to take reflection shots but maybe that's because there isn't a whole lot of water around here.

Lemons, summer almost all year round, blue sky and a wonderful idea for a reflections shot!

What a refreshing image, particularly since it is also taken in a desert.

Yes it's hard in the desert isn't it? I had to go and look for one taken abroad (lol)
I like particularly the first one you took.

Yes, it would be very cool to photograph a bird in your bird bath ... one day!! However, don't hold your breath.

In the meantime, you have captured a lovely reflection of a lemon tree, fruit and all.

Not bad for a desert!

Lovely reflections ;-)
My lemons are ripening and should be ready for harvest in the next few weeks. Love your pink blossoms in the previous post too! My reflections are at Small Reflections this weekend.
