I grew up in Arizona and am drawn to blogs from there - found yours through Weekend Reflections. Love the metal work reflections - I really miss that kind of stuff. Happy New Year from Saudi Arabia!
The colours in your header are lovely, I'm always entranced by the different hues in prickly pear cacti.
Happy New Year to you Diane, may 2010 be a great year for you, and thank you for all your great blog posts over the last year, which I have so enjoyed.
Delightful photos all! I love the reflections and appreciate you sharing the reflected images separately too. Lest I forget ... I love the purple tinted cactus in your header ;-)
Happy New Year to you and yours! Hugs and blessings,
New Years is a time of reflection, but refelction is always with us everywhere we go. They can be in fornt of us, left and right, above or below, simply anywhere.
Really nice reflection shot. The vibrant blue against the mustard yellow is really striking. And what a great street lamp! Happy New Year to you. Kathy
Very clever! Show the excellent reflections, then turn to what was reflected. The reflections are great (I like the 2nd one because it's larger), but the street lamp is really cool.
If you want to see a photo sequence of a caterpillar transforming to a butterfly, have a look. I shot this sequence this past summer.

Firstly, my I say how very beautiful the cactus in your header is? Here in Australia, I know it as Prickly Pear which is not a very romantic name!
Secondly, I love your reflection for this week for the way you have framed it with the blue and the gold.
I wish you a happy and healthy journey into twenty ten.
Hi Diane, Yes--New Year's is a great time to REFLECT... Your reflection pictures are amazing... Thanks!!!!

Love the reflection in the first photo! And the lamp post is marvelous, very rare to see.
A perfect post for the new year and the window is like a wonderful painting. Great reflection!
A small window that shows too much of the outside world...great reflection shot here Diane.
These are wonderful photos. The reflection in the window is wonderful, and that lamp post has to be the most unique I've ever seen.
lovely!
Happy New Year!!! Sorry I'm late! Wishing you the best for the new year!
