Reflections of Robins and Waxwings

Early one morning, I spotted these robins and cedar waxwings enjoying quick sips from a puddle of rainwater.

I like these pictures. I don't think that I've ever seen a waxwing before. I saw a robin for the first time about a year ago but now I see them all the time. The waxwing reflections at the bottom are excellent.

You really captured a great reflective moment in these pictures. It almost looks like a lot more birds than there are. And this is the first I've seen a Waxwing. I love those black bands.

In New England, waxwings are big berry eaters(such as mulberry). I wonder what they eat around here---maybe desert mistletoe berries.

Diane, I thought the bird in the pond in your first pix is a reflection ha ha... LOL :-D Nonetheless, nice pix.

Have another adventurous weekend!

I simply love the Cedar waxwings! but we don't see them here until close to fall when the berries form on the Madrone. What a great reflection!
