Shadow of Hope

Black Phoebe at a desert stream

“Hope” is the thing with feathers -
That perches in the soul -
And sings the tune without the words -
And never stops - at all -

I like that name, Black Phoebe, and its shadow and the reflections in the water too. Beautiful photo, Diane!

Nice shadow capture of a beautiful little bird. I'd like to see Phoebe around here. Lovely reflection in the water, too.

Hope you have a wonderful Sunday!

You have more wonderful posts to great me on my return. You captured lots of birds in your Sonoran desert. I heard some in the Mojave but they wouldn't show themselves long enough for a photo. The wildflowers were much more cooperative.
The bloom had yet to move up into Joshua tree and we didn't make it to Death Valley.
