this is from one walk Diane? it seems like you live in a wildlife sanctuary, love all your pics, especially the bird that is about to fly, is that a hawk?

Hi Betchai, Yes these were all taken one morning and I think that is a hawk.

Diane, I have to say the hawk photo is my favorite. That is an AMAZING capture! As always, all of your photos are beautiful and inviting. I am thrilled to see the leaves on the ocotillo. It is my favorite of the cactus and we have one at our home there. I am finally going to see it with leaves again as we are heading out later this month. =D

The quotes are spot-on.

Well done!

What wonderful pictures again Diane. Everything seems to have turned green overnight.I especially like the 4th shots with the tips of the leaves still red.

Hallo,
I'm sitting in the Crowne Plaza in San Francisco and can't sleep during thefrist night.

It is still cold up here and we had snow in the mountains next to the coastline.

Hope it will bi warmer next week when we are in Arizona.

Have a wonderful Easterweekend.

Wow Diane, that was a spectacular walk, so many sights with the awakening spring desert. I miss it. The hawk is very exciting. What are those fuzzy pink blooms?
Excellent captures!

Diane AZ said...

Hi Gaelyn, the fuzzy pink blooms are fairy dusters or Caliandra. They also come in red.
