Gorgeous flowers! Just a question, this cactus makes fruits? It's similar to one from Spain, but I'm not sure!

Oh how I love spring in the desert, seeing the cactus blooms just gives me a little thrill. Glad I got to see that last week, because it will be a while before seeing any blooms up here.

Hi Diane,
Your aunt and I were just strolling and shooting roses. Wish you could have been with us. Your blooming cactus and Haiku are both lovely.

Hi Barb, Glad you and Martha had a nice time. Maybe I'll get to see some pictures of the roses. :)

May must be one of the best times of year in the desert --since you see all of the new growth. Our new growth is usually in April here---although we see lots of it throughout the summer also.

Beautiful pictures, Diane... The desert is such an incredible place.
Hugs,
Betsy

Your desert is blooming. I wish the cactus would bloom in cooler weather, no friend of the heat am I. Barb and I had to seek some shade on our walk, it's getting warm here, too.
