Oh what a delicious post.
Perfection in one shot and few words!I have a soft spot (soon it will be liver spots ? LOL) for an Autumn coloured leaf .. that was beautiful !Joy : )
Perfection is the word and beauty is the picture with the perfect words. Exquisite capture! Hope you're enjoying a lovely weekend, Diane!Sylvia
Your haiku is inspiring and so well crafted, melding perfect with the photo. Well done.
Joan, so glad you like the haiku! I'm not the poet, it's from Jane Reichhold's Aha Poetry website.
The photo illustrates the haiku brilliantly!
I suppose that I haven’t considered foliage in the desert of Pima County. Yet here is one, its golden hue sitting on a shapely leaf. The shadow that results is wonderful and so nicely detailed...
Might that be an aspen leaf? The beautiful gold of autumn.
Hi Lindy, although it does look like an aspen leaf, it's from a cottonwood tree.
Lovely shot and beautiful haiku!
Wow, nice! You found the perfect verse to go with the photo and vice versa!
Love the photo with so much texture, and the wonderful haiku.
Love both the words and the photo. I'll be back for more.

Age spots are proof you are real, Diane. There is nothing more beautiful than the age-worn hand of someone you love. :)
