Greetings from the Sonoran Desert!  Here are some of the colors observed here this month:

Wow, these are just beautiful. It has taken me a while to adjust my eyes to desert beauty, but I'm pretty sure I'm getting it. Of course, there's no problem seeing the beauty through your photos, I just mean when I am out in the desert myself, tromping around and keeping an eye out for snakes!

Where did you find the cardinal? So distinctive in our desert colors!

Brenda, cardinals are common in Tucson, at backyard bird feeders and out in the wild. They sure do stand out with their bright red feathers!
