Early Morning

Here are a few snapshots taken at Saguaro National Park yesterday where we watched a running event.  Although the air temperature felt hot, I think the clouds made it more pleasant for everyone.  And the rainbow was fun.  Have a great day!

Great shots! I love the sun coming out of the clouds in the 2nd pic. We've had some beautiful sky shows lately.

I though of you when I heard where the race was held and wondered if you would be there.
Great photos and I though it was a lovely day.
This has been the craziest monsoon season ever.

cheers, parsnip

I don't think I could run in the heat, lol! But I'd have loved to watch it, the landscape is so gorgeous!

A rainbow in the desert! Is that unusual?

I hope it rained eventually and after the event has finished. I am sure it was nice to run in the morning in the desert. I feel like joining them ;-)

I would be watching too, not running in Arizona heat!
Very special to have a rainbow at the event:)
Do you know 1 1/2 hrs. away from me they had a blackout yesterday, the one that came from AZ? Whew, thankful that I escaped that blackout.

When it is hot and humid it is nice not to have the sun beating down on you.
