Pleasant weather

after a gentle rain...

Hooray for cooler temperatures, happy plants and animals!

After the long hot summer, it finally feels like fall is approaching.

Enjoy your day; I hope you have pleasant weather too! :D

Goodness, I thought the same thing, hooray for rain and cooler temperatures.

I love and always look forward to your photo walks. Is it Sabino Canyon ? Plus you usually get a horse or two in your posts I really like that.

This has been a very strange monsoon season for Tucson....

cheers, parsnip

There is nothing better than rain in the desert. It is so appreciated--every single drop. Your photos are lovely, as always.

Rain in the desert is such a gift, just not too much at once.

No pleasant weather yet. But hoping ... always hoping. That yellow flower looks familiar. Is it a crown daisy?

@ Parsnip - Yes and the horses belong to the forest service.
@ Loree - We call them Desert Marigolds.

Here too, for the first time we could leave the windows opened last night! Your pictures certainly show how to celebrate.

Yes, I feel like I can breathe again. Isn't it amazing what 30 degrees difference makes? :)
Your photos are always so beautiful. I need to get out and take a walk to see what I can find.

My cousin has the SX30. It's a very nice camera! I thought of you when I read today where the SX40 has come out. :-)

Hurrah for fall. Even the desert plants and animals must be breathing a sigh of relief as the cooler mornings move in.

So very beautiful. All I can do is sigh... =)

I love how you captured the mountain's reflection in the puddle of water. I can almost smell the wet desert.
