These are really great. I don't know how you got those gnatcatchers to sit still for their photos. Love the singing bluebird!

Again you have done it again....
I always enjoy your photos because I think I know where you have taken them and it is fun to see a different side of the same area.
But it is your bird photos that amaze me. Quite fabulous.

cheers, parsnip

They are all look so sweet and cute. Good to see that they all have their own poses and proud of themselves.

Wonder what equipment you use to shoot the birds... lovely shots, all of them...

Hi Lrong, The birds are far away when I take the pictures. I use a hand-held point-and-shoot camera that has 20X zoom and then crop the images later with Photoshop. Thanks for your question. :)

Finally! I now know what those cute little birds are...blue-grey gnat catchers. They are so cute. This morning there was a Black Phoebe looking for bugs on the back porch. No pictures though.

Tracy - yes, my son pointed out that the male gnatcatcher's eyebrow makes it look like an angry bird. :]

A lovely series! We noted a male Phainopepla at our home out there a couple of visits ago. We've yet to see the Western Bluebirds there, however.
