I am amazed by how many different kinds of butterflies I have seen this year. So much more than last year.
This is a wonderful post today.

I wish I could name them all as you do.

Wow, these shots are so cool! The butterfly colors and shapes are amazing to me. How neat that you have been able to take so many shots without them flying away! Nice job!

You are so lucky to encounter so many beautiful specimens - and they seem to be posing for you. I love the pale colored ones on the bright blooms!

Breathtaking photographs! Like many, my heart simply swells with joy when I witness butterflies and these momentary captures of their pauses is so uplifting. Beautiful -- thank you.

This past week I was repeatedly caught unaware by the spectacular antics of the golden butterflies (didn't know they were called "Sulphurs") as they darted among the flowers ... they were like sunshine rays realized into form.

Hey there stranger:) I was in your area doing photography. It was National Park day which means it was a free entrance fee. So I went to Sabino Canyon and had a nice hike:) I've decided that you are the master of Sabino. I looked for badgers and all the fun stuff you find and went home thinking...There's a reason I never go to Sabino because you do it better:) Just though I'd let you know that I thought of you yesterday on my hike while searching for critters to find:) It was a nice hike though. And lots of people! Hope you're having a good weekend.

Hi Chris, I haven't been finding many critters there either, except for insects. I'm glad you had a good hike!
