Wonderful Diane! Love the heart shaped cactus paddle.

Love the eggs. The cactus paddle heart would be a thorny challenge. Nice day in the desert.

Fabulous diversity displayed here... Awww, the precious eggs captured so sweetly in their nest... do you know what kind of bird laid the eggs?

Diane AZ said...

Hi Darla, those bluish eggs in the nest in a cholla cactus could be curve-billed thrasher. :)

Ah, what a great glimpse into life in the desert. The bunny and the roadrunner are my fav pics. But they're all beautiful.

I just took a second look. The picture of the yellow breasted birdie is a hoot. He look like he has twig wings. Bird and shrub are one.

Celeste said...

Do you know the bird species that produced the eggs?

Diane AZ said...

Hi Celeste, the eggs were probably curve-billed thrasher. :)
