Holy Moly! There are some spectacular photos in this group…wow. Are those bats? I'm enamored of bats; love 'em. A friend of mine calls her tiny Chihuahua her "Golden Bat." :-)
The flying things are winged ants. Once a year after the rain they emerge from underground to mate in the sky. The phenomenon is called nuptial flight.
