Summer Snapshots

Hello! These pictures are from July and August. The first two are from short nature walks in the desert and the rest are from the neighborhood and backyard.

A bobcat came into our yard, took a long seven-minute drink of water from the toad's dish and left.

The toad has been living in our backyard for a few years but we only see it during monsoon seasons.

Lynx must have been very thirsty, so long drink. Beautiful sunrise and birds and dragonfly. Regards.

A spectacular desert post!! You get an incredible variety of plants and animals in your part of the desert. Great bobcat shot. He looks awfully skinny, don't you think?

Such wonderful desert photos of landscapes and critters, Diane. I saw that you were still in triple digits a few days ago. What a treat to see the Bobcat! And that Cooper's Hawk!

Hello,

Lovely photos. Does your frog croak when it stops raining?

Best wishes

You have some great shots, but the bobcat has to be the most unusual!
