Ruby Tuesday - Dinosaur McDonald's

Dinosaur McDonald's is a landmark in Tucson on the southwest corner of Grant and Tanque Verde Roads.

This month it is decorated for the holidays so there is plenty of the color red.

Smaller dinosaurs are at the back of the restaurant and the inside follows the dinosaur motif as well.

At one time there was a "Rocks and Minerals" McDonald's in Tucson that was like a little museum inside. Does your town have a McDonald's with a special theme?

  1. That is a fine looking Dino! I probably shouldn't, but this attraction just might compel me to buy a fried lunch. Plenty of rubies to catch our eye on RT!

  4. No special-theme McDonalds in my area...that I know of. So, why dinosaurs? Have a lot of dinosaur bones been discovered near Tucson?

  5. How cool is that? I've never seen a theme oriented McDonald's before. But then it has been years since I've been in one. I love the first shot, like someone else said it looks like the T Rex is going to eat the traffic light.

  6. Good one Diane - I've never seen a McD with a theme. This one must be a real hit (aren't they all anyway) with the kiddies.

we have an Elvis McD here, there is a giant Elvis statue that bursts into song whenever someone touches him
