The whole series is so very pretty. Great photos all of them.
ReplyDeleteYour observation is so unique. I like the way you combine the elements that have same colour. Ruby is a nice colour. Great photos as always Diane :-D

ReplyDeleteI enjoy looking at your pics.
ReplyDeleteWhat a great selection of photos - your birds were fabulous!
ReplyDelete... I shared my views of "Fresh Snow"
Lots of great Ruby Tuesday pictures, Diane. We have the same three birds here that you showed today. The Cardinal is still one of the prettiest birds in winter, don't you think?
ReplyDeleteHugs,
Betsy
What a lovely series of reds, the little finch is just adorable.
ReplyDeleteWow. I am amazed that you can actually capture the sight of the birds.
ReplyDeleteYour pictures are so beautiful. It's hard to say which I like the best. I like the drama of the chili pepper picture and the gila woodpecker. But the house finch and the cholla cactus are delicate. And who knew that jojoba was a bush? Thanks for beauty and an education.
ReplyDeleteWhat a lovely selection Diane. I will skip the chillies though. :)
ReplyDeleteThe finch is so pretty. And I love the vibrant red of the peppers.
ReplyDeleteThat's a great way for me to breakfast... great shots all of them, the finch is adorable. Red mistletoe? Wow!
ReplyDeleteGreat pictures. I really like the finch. Thanks for sharing.
ReplyDeleteThis all looks so familiar...I used to live in the Sonoran Desert of USA.
ReplyDeleteMy R T is posted...it's all about Pecan Toffee Bark today. Come over and I'll share a piece with you...

ReplyDeleteWow a lot of red...nature is really a beauty. Thanks for sharing!
ReplyDeleteThe desert can be a colorful place!
ReplyDeleteThe Cardinal bird looks like as it is soaked in red color. The Cholla cactus looks strange with red color and looks like coral. We use red chillies regularly in our food.
ReplyDeleteSomeone was very brave to put those red ribbons on the ocotillos and cholla cactus!
ReplyDeleteThat is the first time I have seen a cholla turn red. Didn't know they did that; learned something new today. =)
I don't think you could have posed the Gila woodpecker any better. He was obviously happy to sit for you.
All great samples of Ruby Tuesday!
Lovely set of images as always. I have always thought of Cardinals as winter birds in the east but I guess not! The red chollas are interesting as well, I've never seen them like this.
ReplyDeleteLove your series of red photos, especially the birds. Great photos.
ReplyDeleteLovely shots of those birds Diane, I like their colors...sorry for the late visit..have a nice evening!
ReplyDeleteI love your ruby shots, the finch and the ribbons on the catus. I'm glad I wasn't the one to attach them or the one who will have to remove them.
