Going with the flow…

Yes, sometimes water even flows in the desert!  On this short walk we follow the water as it meanders along Rattlesnake Canyon, joins with Sabino Creek, spills over the dam, and then branches off to a quieter pace.

  10. It is so wonderful to see water in the desert, cactus and other suculents will start flowering soon and gras and bushes will become green for a while.
    But it can be dangerous, two friends of mine died years ago in South Amerika. They had a camp in a dry creak, far away it started rainig and the water washed them with the tend under their van.

  22. What a beautiful place for a walk. I love hiking beside streams and rivers, the sounds are always relaxing. Great mallard in the last photo, excellent capture on the reflection.
