Spring is in the air

The bluebirds might have gone but some waxwings linger.  Wildflowers bloom here and there under nurturing clouds.

    Hi Tom, I would call it Mojave Lupine or Coulter's Lupine (Lupinus sparsiflorus)

    Hi Kilauea Poetry, Yes, those are the real colors of the cactus in my header. It's a purple variety of prickly pear cactus.

    What lovely CLEAR blue skies overhead! Love the adorable pair of bird in the first shot ... the marvelous purple with pink blossoms in the second ... and the magnificent dramatic skies over your wonderful desert landscape in the third!
