Over the 4th of July weekend, TJ's mom needed a particular book to prepare a lesson plan for her class. The libraries were closed so she drove to the bookstore while I admired the scenery and sky from the passenger seat:
On theTurnpike
Crossing over the Connecticut River
The sky could still be seen from inside the bookstore.
At one month old, Tyler wasn't very interested in the books. He did enjoy the car and stroller rides.
To see more skies, visit Skywatch Friday hosted by Klaus, Sandy, Wren, Fishing Guy and Sylvia.
Beautiful Road Photography. Sometimes books put me to sleep, too. Car rides always do. :-)

ReplyDeletenice pics. looks like it was a really nice day

He's a beautiful, beautiful child.
ReplyDeleteOh, and the skies are nice, too, lol!
You can see sky from inside the bookstore, you can also see it inside a book.
ReplyDeleteA beautiful sky.
More green and more water than you get to see in Arizona.
ReplyDeleteIt's never too early to get TJ used to bookstores and libraries.
I wonder what your grandfather would have thought about e-books. He liked technology but I think he liked his printer's ink more.
The skies are very pretty, bu thte str of this post is little Tyler Jet! Such a doll...he looks so big already...he is really growing quickly!!!
ReplyDeleteI meant to say THE STAR OF THIS POST IS LITTLE TYLER JET!!! :)

Cute baby...my newest grandson will be 3 months old on July 28th already...that picture made me miss him!
ReplyDeleteTJ looks a little bored by the story books- maybe he stayed up to late the night before reading! Hope you had a wonderful visit.
ReplyDeleteNice to be a passenger and be able to take pics along the way. TJ might have to get just a bit older before he appreciates literature.
ReplyDeleteBooks don't do babies much good anyway... unless they want to eat the pages out of them :)
ReplyDeleteAwesome views of the sky. In the first shot the cloud formations are beautiful.
ReplyDeletewhat a cutie, start him young already. he looks very content. :-)

ReplyDeleteGorgeous sky shots, and very sweet capture of Tyler napping.
ReplyDeleteYour first shot of the sky is beautiful! Somehow it doesn't surprise me that your daughter is a teacher -she must have inherited some of her mother's skills:)
ReplyDeleteSo fun to enjoy your grand baby!
aawww...cute little Tyler! What interesting skies!
ReplyDeleteYour first photo looks like the cotton wool clouds I had, except you had blue sky, and my sky was covered with it.
ReplyDeleteHow many books have you bought for him? Books are the best gifts. You don't have to buy baby books.
