  2. I second Brenda's comment. These photos look like hope and are an illustration of the abundance of life in the driest of places.

The light on the cactus in the second photo is perfect, absolutely perfect.

  10. What a beautiful place you live. My sister moved to Phoenix last year and I helped her move. I took soooo many pictures of the saguaro's and other cactus it was crazy. But I could only stay 24 hours. Next visit I will have more time. Love these photos.

As you can tell I am a succulent freakazoid and have my own blog.

    Happy Cactus Monday!

  29. How much rain do you get? Used to learn in school how after the rain, you have all the flowers.

I am looking at some of my Malaysian photos and see some cacti photos. The Chinese call them the palm of the Gods.

  37. Hi Betsy! Ha ha, it does look like I'm taking a bloggy break, without even trying. Everyone is fine, I'm still here, just having fun around the house gardening, cooking and sewing. I've been on facebook regularly, and reading blogs but haven't thought of anything to blog about here. Very sweet of you to think about me. :)
