Oh, this is so cute! The little acrobats :) "Look, I can do like this!" then "look at me, I can do like that!" and after looking at you, asking "did you see it? Wait, I will show you what else I can do!" :))
i still haven't gotten over yet your amazing quail family experience, and now this set :) keep them coming Diane, I always get excited to see your nature posts.
Beautiful! I remember when I was about 10 years old my dream was to see a Golden Oriole - I had the Observers Book of Birds which had a lovely picture of one. I don't know if there are any in the UK now!
You take such amazing bird photos...well all your photos are amazing, but especially the birds. I love the third shot of the verdin. Precious! Do you lie in wait or just get lucky? The orioles always fly away when I get anywhere near them. :)
Thanks Magpie, most of my backyard bird pics are taken from inside the house. I regularly make rounds to three different windows with camera in hand to see what's out there. The more often I check, the luckier I get. :)
Hi Diane, So glad to get home and back to blogging. We did have a fabulous trip--but home is pretty nice also!!!!!
I love your area of the country.. I saw a new bird for me in CO I think.. It is a Clark's Nutcracker. Seen one????? I'll post his picture sometime. Also so lots of Ravens in and around the canyons. Hugs, Betsy
