    I always enjoy your photos because I think I know where you have taken them and it is fun to see a different side of the same area.
    But it is your bird photos that amaze me. Quite fabulous.

  3. Wow!!! Awesome shots. Notice the Phainopepla and the Desert Mistletoe in one shot!!! That is great. I love the Black Throated Sparrow.....really nice clearn photos of our birds right now:)

  14. Hi Lrong, The birds are far away when I take the pictures. I use a hand-held point-and-shoot camera that has 20X zoom and then crop the images later with Photoshop. Thanks for your question. :)

  15. Finally! I now know what those cute little birds are...blue-grey gnat catchers. They are so cute. This morning there was a Black Phoebe looking for bugs on the back porch. No pictures though.

  19. A lovely series! We noted a male Phainopepla at our home out there a couple of visits ago. We've yet to see the Western Bluebirds there, however.
