These flowers were all blooming in May:

 ruellias pink and purple, red sage, plumbago, vitex, yellow bells

  14. I love the roadrunner, they are fun to watch as they hurry along the ground. I am wondering how the veggies do in your summer heat. Here they just sulk when the temps near 100.

  15. Hi Martha, This is our first attempt growing cukes and tomatoes through the summer. Usually the garden is done by June, but we started it later this year. So far the veggies are doing okay with a lot of shade, compost and water. We'll see...
