Purple Clouds

Commonly known as Texas Rangers, Texas Sages or Purple Sages,
perhaps another name for these shrubs could be Purple Clouds.

    very beautiful, I believe I saw them in Grand Canyon and other parts of Arizona, they are such a sight to behold

    Lovely series and very nice macro on image 2. I'll have to look closer at ours the next time we're there, to notice the detail. I think they're one of the prettiest flowering desert plants.
