Fantastic birds.....really nice shots of the Bluebirds and Gilded Flicker. So many people recently have come to visit and find this bird. They always ask, "Where's a good place to see them?" Around Saguaros:) It's hard to believe that we are in February already.
I envy your Saguaros, Diane. My designated Saguaro area (doesn't everyone have one) consists of one single Saguaro, and it grows at about the impressive rate of 1/2 an inch per year (and that's on a good year).
Maybe it doesn't like 96% humidity year round. And it's probably not nuts about sea spray either!
That was a great walk...so many birds. I deem a stroll successful when I get one good bird shot and you got several. Really pretty pics, I need to get back to Tucson one day soon.

ReplyDeleteThat's right. Torture me. Go ahead. I can take it. Blizzard and all.
ReplyDelete2 weeks and I'll be there!
Won't the spikes on the cacti hurt the birds' feet? I find it amazing that the birds land on the saguaros at all.
