Bighorn Sheep


We saw two bighorn sheep at the canyon. The smaller one is wearing a GPS collar, the sheep are likely part of a reintroduction effort.

    Nice photo. Probably have not been native to Arizona in many years.

    Last time I saw 2 of them was in the Northwest Territory in Canada in the early 80s. They came down from a high peak and crossed the road not to fare from where we were.
