These sunset scenes weren't particularly colorful, so I gave them some sepia tone. The first one is full sepia, the last two are half sepia. In the last image I also added a layer of crinkled wax paper to the clouds for texture.
In the first one, the opening in the clouds made the sun look like a spot light. I considered cloning out the distant plane and old radio antennae, but I left them alone.

Those shots are beautiful. Tthe sky lends itself well to sepia. MB
Some very interesting effects Diane.
wow...beautiful!
I agree with Gaelyn, very interesting effects. That half sepia is especially nice.
I guess this is the week for Cooper's hawks, interesting that we had similar visitors.
You've done a good job. They all look different and I like them all.
I do like the plane and radio antenna in the 1st photo. In the half sepia ones, I like being able to see more of the details of the foreground (or maybe that's the way the photo is taken?). Very creative with the last one :).
They are all good, Diane, but I think I like the half-sepia one---for the contrast...
Have a great week.
Hugs,
Betsy
I'm usually not a fan of sepia for most uses but you have taken it to another level. The half sepia and texture in the last photo gives the appearance of a painting. The first two are simply beautiful.
All three effects are nice :-D I always like sepia effect.
Wow the lst one looks just like a painting.
Great pictures, Diane! The last one is my favorite.
Nice. I like the half-sepia, it gives it a real sunset-y feel.
Ohhhh!! You have torn the sky apart in your first picture.
ahh! chocolate sky..wonderful! i love the first photo. the sun is breaking throught the cloud, simply amazing!
The one with texture looks great Diane...all are great photos though.
