You get the best shadow pictures, Diane... Must be those beautiful Arizona skies!!!!! We haven't seen the sun in days and days and days... It's almost depressing. Oh Well...

love those cactus shadows..especially the final shot..

The various cacti leave the most interesting shadows - the small one lis close t the ground, the tall ones leave monument sized shadows. How wonderful, you have captured so well the attitude of the bird - he says that he will move when he is good and ready...

All great shadows, Diane. If I had to choose it would be the saguaro. Long shadows signify the beginning or end of the day, a time when nature comes out to play.

That first shadow is especially interesting! I have to say that the little birdy is my fave. How sweet!

Sorry to be late here Diane, reading shadow is a deep term for me...but with your cool images here, the stories have just turned to a fun one.

Back in snowy KY and missing the desert already.

The multiple shadows are look like,as though they are produced by the tennis bat like single cactus. The long shadows of the cactus on the road seems to be pointing towards something. I like the titles and the bird.
