Looking at Fog

Early Monday morning, Tucson had some fog for a change:

“Derive happiness in oneself from a good day's work, from illuminating the fog that surrounds us.”  ~Henri Matisse

“Do not worry if you have built your castles in the air. They are where they should be. Now put the foundations under them.”  ~Henry David Thoreau

Visit more skies from around the world, at Skywatch Friday here. Thanks to Klaus, Sandy, Wren, Fishing Guy and Sylvia for hosting this fun meme.

Wow, I love all of these, Diane! There is something about fog that I find to be both mysterious and peaceful at the same time.

We've had some fog over her in our CA desert (near Palm Springs), too! Very unusual. Beautiful pics!

Really nice - and that is a lot of fog! I like your quotes, too.

A lovely fog, not the all enshrouding fog that comes here and stays for six to eight weeks.

The fog gives the scenes different and beautiful look. The second photo indeed looks like castle in the sky. It has a dreamy look. Nice captures.

The fog made the desert looks like highland. How wonderful, I hope with the appearance of fog, the temperature is lower... hence, nicer ;-)
