Lovely! Summer rain has a cleansing affect, and your photos reflect it!

I second Brenda's comment. These photos look like hope and are an illustration of the abundance of life in the driest of places.

The light on the cactus in the second photo is perfect, absolutely perfect.

Look at that smile! No, I don't mean the deer, I mean that gorgeous little 'un! :-)

I really am glad that you are back, this is another fabulous collection! I especially like that big, prickly cactus!

Beautiful shots, it looks like you are getting you monsoons. I wish a little of that would head up to the Sierra. I'd love to see some thunder storms
That's a great shot of TJ, he is soo cute!

You've had rain? You are so lucky. I am really longing for rain but I think it will be a while yet before we see any.

What a beautiful place you live. My sister moved to Phoenix last year and I helped her move. I took soooo many pictures of the saguaro's and other cactus it was crazy. But I could only stay 24 hours. Next visit I will have more time. Love these photos.

As you can tell I am a succulent freakazoid and have my own blog.

Happy Cactus Monday!

Beautiful pictures, Diane... Rains just seem to clear the air and make things even more beautiful... Love seeing your area.

Love also seeing the pictures of your daughter and TJ... What a gorgeous baby.

It's the best time to be outside. After the rain the temperature will not so high and everything will look so clear and bright. Love your pictures!!

And the air smells special while the desert sparkles. Plus those cactus fruit look almost ripe enough to eat.

Wow, I see so many "rabbits" in your second photos.

Can you find them?

How lovely, fresh and clean everything seems after a storm. I see the prickly pears are ready for eating. They have to be one of my favorite fruits.

How absolutely gorgeous! That shot of the deer is stunning.

But my favorite (bet you guessed it) is the 2nd picture - the one of the cactus with the HEARTS!!! I would love to feature this on a future Guest Heart Thursday! May I?

Those cacti are exciting!!! Love this series.

How much rain do you get? Used to learn in school how after the rain, you have all the flowers.

I am looking at some of my Malaysian photos and see some cacti photos. The Chinese call them the palm of the Gods.

What lovely visions from the desert! Love the reflection of the mountain in the puddle. The prickly pear fruit are beautiful accents of color. Lovely capture of the deer.

What a beautiful, vibrant pink! And the fuzzy one ... these are so much more enticing in their natural habitat, rather than the grocery store variety. Thank you for letting me peek in!

Hi Diane, Where are you???? I hope you are just out-of-town and hadn't told us that you were taking a bloggy break... I hope things are okay with you and your family...

Just thinking about you.
Hugs,
Betsy

Hi Betsy! Ha ha, it does look like I'm taking a bloggy break, without even trying. Everyone is fine, I'm still here, just having fun around the house gardening, cooking and sewing. I've been on facebook regularly, and reading blogs but haven't thought of anything to blog about here. Very sweet of you to think about me. :)
