The picture of the Lily was taken in Wisconsin where I was visiting family, including my sweet little grandson, Tyler Jet. :) The rest of the pictures are from Tucson where the Mexican Birds of Paradise are still going strong as are the Lantanas. Barrel cacti are starting to bloom too.

as always, I am so delighted to see your beautiful shots of the gifts from nature you had, Diane. They are always very inspiring to look at.
Glad you got to do some visiting with family.
I love all of these "warm" flowers, but especially that crown of blossoms on the barrel cactus.
The colors not only attracted the bee, they attracted me too.
The cactus flowers are really pretty...
Gorgeous set of flowers, Diane. Love them ALL... The colors are marvelous!!!
Hugs,
Betsy
So beautiful!!!
A feast for the eyes. You must miss your grandson Tyler when you are in Az...

What beautiful flowers! I am not an orange lover (didn't I already say that somewhere?) but I truly admire this color. How stunning!
Blotches of cheerful red in the desert -it must be beautiful!
Surely you mean "fire coloured flowers"!!! So, so beautiful, I am in awe at the cactus.
Beautiful flowers, but I love your barrel cactus flowers most because I don't see them here. Such an interesting flower to see.
Gorgeous color combination. I really like the halo of blossoms on the barrel cactus. All very pretty!
How nice to have a visit with family.
Love the flowers, especially the unique southwestern ones.
Yellow and orange... so warm and beautiful! The Mexican Birds of Paradise grow really well here also. Good shot with Tyler Jet ;-D
Hot! Hot! Hot! So much orange in the desert landscape. I bet you had a good visit with weet TJ.
Those warm colors are surely representatives of the heat...yet I remain amazed they can bloom with such fullness.
What a very interesting and beautiful photos!
Orange,Yellow and Reds make the scene even hotter.
I am growing daylilies in a climate where it reaches 46C in the summer.I am glad they are more heat tolerant than expected.
