From a distance I saw a couple of deer, maybe a doe and her fawn. The bigger one kept her eyes on me while the little one was nibbling on plants and scampering about.
Awe, so sweet! My little Doozey dog looks like a deer a bit! Your photos are always excellent! I love whenever I come across deer on vacations (never here). We see Key Deer in the Keys, and White Tailed Deer in Georgia! Have a happy 4th Of July and weekend! Julie

Whenever I see that view of the desert with the mountains, I just want to be there. My husband and I could sit for hours and just stare............
The little ones have not learned to respect you.
They need some lessons.
Isn't it amazing how these animals can survive the nasty temps of our June? I forget how tough the desert can be sometimes.
Oh how adorable t hey look.
I had to enlarge the first pic to see them! They are so lovely and so is the soft light you caught them in.
Reminds me of the shores of Wallowa lake in Oregon. And what did my camera's battery do? Die on me, that's what! :-)
happy 4th of july!
xoxo
What a little sweetie. Mom looks so protective, she seems torn between watching you and keeping an eye on her little one.
