Shadow Shots - Little Dog

I saw this cute little dog at the nursery the other day. I took its picture hoping to catch a shadow shot and was satisfied with this one.

I don't know much about small dogs, but the shadow looks like some kind of Terrier to me. If anyone knows the breed, feel free to say so in the comments.

This last picture isn't a shadow shot, but if you look closely you can see the dog was wearing a bandanna with turkeys on it in celebration of the fall season and Thanksgiving. Have a nice weekend!

  3. AWE! What a cutie.

I'm jealous that you can garden this time of year. Look at all those plants for sale.

  4. You cannot ignore a doggie that is as cute and winsome as this one! The shadow shows his canine profile so well, the bandanna adds a dash of style. A turkey treat will just suit this fellow just fine...

  5. My husband refers to small dogs as "kick dogs" which I think is mean, but he (my husband) isn't mean (I think he was severely traumatized by a small dog when he was young). I don't know much about these kinds of dogs either-perhaps it is a mixture of several small dogs! Nonetheless, it provided some wonderful shadow profile shots!

  8. A cute series of photos and loved that turkey bandana. I am not too good on identifying terriers. I want to say a Yorkie but don't quote me on that ;) Hopefully someone will identify him for you without hesitation.

  9. Diane, that is a great shadow shot. I have to agree with Denise, a Yorkshire Terrier. My folks had one. Cute bandana.

  15. Well, I can tell you this is a Yorkshire Terrier with a very bad hairdo...30 years as a pet groomer, I've seen all kinds of ridiculous dos on the poor beasts.

I have seen many a sweet Yorkie with schnauzer hairdos and this appears to be one of them...YUCK...poor dog!!!

  21. The dog with golden hair and the shadow look nice with a good background of plants. Small dog with small plants! The dogs backside seems to be,it belongs to some other type of dog.
