Looking up at the sky

Mostly blue skies and mild temperatures here for the past couple of weeks, perfect weather for enjoying nature outdoors with a camera. The photo meme Skywatch Friday encourages participants to gaze skyward.  Things seem optimistic from that perspective, don’t they?

Join the fun and see skies from around the world at Skywatch Friday hosted by Klaus, Sandy, Wren, Fishing Guy, and Sylvia.

  1. Love the polaroid style photos and the way the plants soar up. Incredible how the birds don't seem to mind the prickly cactus!

  28. Wow, these are gorgeous! Gotta ask, do you use a polarizer filter? The sky colors are just magnificent!

  29. Hi Brenda, I just have a point and shoot so I can't add any filters or lenses. I used -2/3 exposure compensation while taking these and then corrected the contrast in photoshop.
