These are all so gorgeous and descriptive. I really like the angle of the second shot and love the quail. However, that snake is not a favorite. While I am scared to death of them, you've captured him very well in that photo. You are brave :)

What a sunrise! It's so interesting to see the different flowers you have in the desert, Diane. It is so unlike what we have here. I love the warm colors you get there. But that snake! :)
Beautiful pics Diane, showing that the desert is not a place of just sand! Can't remember ever seen the Mexican bird of paradise, quite different from the more common one.

It really was a great monsoon season. Love how green the desert looks. But I can't believe it's almost Fall already.
