Skywatch

Here are some sky pictures from a walk early Sunday morning to watch the full moon set.

Supermoon over Tucson 6/23/2013







On the way back I enjoyed the colors of the mountains and sky,

Santa Ritas in the distance

and a quiet sunrise.

    Great moon shots! I thought about photographing the supermoon but didn't catch it on the horizon to show the huge size.

    Awesome !
    I sat out that evening and watched the moon rise over the Rincon Mountains. Beautiful !
    I took some photos but with my little point and click but they were rather puny normal. Not at all like your fabulous ones.

    Stay cool over the weekend way too hot to be out and about.

    your fill moon setting are just some of the bests i have seen, the 2nd one is really amazing but i appreciate all the rest of the pictures here, giving really significance to that moon on focused.

    That moon! unreal.... we saw it here in London and I got a good photo, but quite different from yours, with lots of clouds....

    Wow, you nailed these moon shots! So hard to get a good exposure on the moon to capture the detail and the foreground as well. Nice!!
