Nature Walks

A walk around the school late December:

hummingbird, vermillion flycatchers,
Gila woodpecker, house finch, starling,
 mockingbird, cactus wren

A walk to the creek late December:

golden leaves on cottonwood trees, Cooper's hawk and nest,
 cardinal, desert mistletoe, blooming brittlebush
