Mid-week blue sky with contrails from jets:
Tyler's middle name is Jet because his father served in
the Air Force, stationed in Tucson where he met Victoria,
and they are fans of the NY Jets football team.

The cactus waves its right hand, and tells you, "congratulation".
I wish I lived near desert and cacti..very intriguing photos...loved them all.
Oh such a beautiful morning for you :-D Had a great day already? That blue sky with contrails from jets is a perfect sky for you, family and newest member of your family :-D

In a few years time, you'll show Tyler the photos of when he was born...
Beautiful skies and quotes. How nice that you'll always know what the sky looked like when Tyler was born.
congratulations, Diane, Jet is a wonderful name and interesting stories behind the name, the first picture is such a jubilant and happy one, the flower seems to celebrate with the family.
Fantastic shots. Congratulations to all and god bless Tyler with all happiness.
A Beautiful Week for sure! One to remember always. Congratulations to everyone. (Your grandbaby is adorable).
Nice photos and a week to remember for sure!
The first poem reminds me of the story of the Flower Sermon. The Buddha simply held up a flower before those assembled. Only Mahakashyapa smiled.
Give him some more time to be pilot. Good to have a second name with a special meaning.
Have a nice weekend.

The first photo is fabulous well as other ones - but first is my favourite:)
Happy weekend!
What an interesting flower in that first shot, I'm not familiar with it.
I hadn't thought about the significance of Tyler's middle name. Had it not been for the Air Force his parent's would never have met.
Thanks for sharing these lovely captures! First one is outstanding!!
Pixellicious Photos
Forgot to mention the flower in the first photo is Desert Bird of Paradise (Caesalpinia gilliesii):)
Congratulations! Tyler Jet has made you proud. :)
This is the first desert bird of paradise I have ever seen. It looks so festive, perfect timing to bloom on the day Tyler Jet was born.
What a beautiful flower in that first photo! Congratulations on the new addition!
Such beautiful captures. I love all the images.
Have a great weekend!
What are you doing waking at 5 am in the morning? The only time I got up early was when my brother took me fishing out to sea. He got me up at 4am. I am an owl.
You were rewarded, the mroning scene is indeed beautiful.
What a perfect flower on a perfect day to welcome little Tyler Jet.
I love that middle name!!!
Ann, I know it's weird but I'm up by 4:00 AM every morning without even trying. :)
Obviously the sky shines and favors this new born.
Beautiful skies and quotes!!!
Lovely contrasting colors in the first shot. All beautiful skies. I see some new arms coming out on the cactus.
So much food for though in this post!

Hi Diane, Gorgeous sunrise picture.... Beautiful sunrises are the ONLY thing which would get me up EARLY in the mornings. WOW!!!!
Love Tyler's middle name.... That is just so neat.. Wonder if people will call him Jet someday!!!!??? I like that name---and especially the reason they chose it.
Have a great weekend.
Hugs,
Betsy
Great picture of mother and baby in the margin, Diane. Is the first photo Caesalpinia gilliesii?
The deep blue sky makes a very striking background for the flower. Great SkyWatch photos.
Love your photos...what a bloom!
Every photograph is wonderful! I really like the Emily Dickinson quote.
Fantastic captures and captions to meld into one glorious photo shoot. That flower takes my breath away.
Diane, these photos are glorious, and I see little Tyler Jet in the sidebar with his Mama. Welcome to him - I'm glad all went well.
