These are all so gorgeous and descriptive. I really like the angle of the second shot and love the quail. However, that snake is not a favorite. While I am scared to death of them, you've captured him very well in that photo. You are brave :)
Hi Diane, It's great to hear from you... I miss your gorgeous Arizona pictures... Beautiful ones today... Love the Mexican Bird of Paradise... How pretty!!! And the Ocotillo is so pretty. Don't think I've ever seen that.
What a sunrise! It's so interesting to see the different flowers you have in the desert, Diane. It is so unlike what we have here. I love the warm colors you get there. But that snake! :)
Beautiful pics Diane, showing that the desert is not a place of just sand! Can't remember ever seen the Mexican bird of paradise, quite different from the more common one.

Fantastic captures Diane, as always! I was about to close my computer when I saw that you have updated your blog. Wonderful series of shots.

It really was a great monsoon season. Love how green the desert looks. But I can't believe it's almost Fall already.
I have so many quail of all ages this year on my property that forget coveys it is a herd !
As always lovely photos.

@ Tracy I have learned to love this snake it helps keeps my packrat population in check and eats rattlesnakes !
You always find such beauty to share, Diane. Your sunrise is the start of something special. PS TJ is adorable!
Gorgeous snapshots of your world, Diane! I like that Mexican Bird of Paradise!
Hello Diane. The air looks so crisp (unlike the habitual haziness here). Beautiful Caesalpinia!
