It really was a great monsoon season. Love how green the desert looks. But I can't believe it's almost Fall already.

@ Tracy I have learned to love this snake it helps keeps my packrat population in check and eats rattlesnakes !

These are all so gorgeous and descriptive. I really like the angle of the second shot and love the quail. However, that snake is not a favorite. While I am scared to death of them, you've captured him very well in that photo. You are brave :)

Beautiful pics Diane, showing that the desert is not a place of just sand! Can't remember ever seen the Mexican bird of paradise, quite different from the more common one.
