Brittlebush Encelia farinosa is a desert shrub related to the sunflower.
Lately, it seems no one can resist heading for the hills to enjoy the color yellow. And, who could blame them?

Gorgeous photos especially the one with the deer. The desert sure is beautiful right now.
What a pretty sight to behold in real! Love the dainty yellow flower. The colour really brightens up the desert. And the people running as well. The desert suddenly became so lively :-D That's great!

Diane, I'll be heading to Phoenix tomorrow and hope I'll see some of this yellow for myself! We plan on visiting the Botanic Garden while there. Love the pic with the deer!
