Backyard Birds

These are some of the more colorful visitors to my backyard this spring:

Lesser Goldfinch

Cardinal - male

Cardinal - female

House finches - red and orange

Broad-billed Hummingbird

Hooded Oriole

Lazuli Bunting

Finches, cardinals and hummers are regular visitors while orioles and buntings are rarely seen here.

  1. HI Diane, I love seeing your birds... That last one, the Bunting, is so pretty... Looks like he/she is giving you the 'eye'... ha

That Oriole is gorgeous... And the hummingbird is adorable. Thanks for sharing.
    Hugs,
    Betsy

  5. All pretty little birdies. The cardinals look like that's a common pose for them. I,too, see the orioles and lazuli buntings passing through this time of year.
