Hi Diane, Great pictures of Fall in your area...Seems as if different areas of the country portray Fall in many different ways, don't they????

Love your butterflies and bees... Ours are pretty much gone from here now.
Hugs,
Betsy

It's hard to call the "autumn" all that blooming festival! As I came from the land of four seasons, it reminds me of spring! And that grasshopper looks amazing, so different colors.

Wonderful photos, so many interesting things to see in the desert. I am hoping to get to see the spring flowers there next year. Seeds are being sown in more ways than one :)

Fall in the desert looks so lovely. My friend in Rio Verde told me they had strange weather today - even a bit of hail.Your photos are gorgeous - I especially like the butterflies and bee.

It's beautiful here....and even more so after the rain event we had this morning. I actually had the day off so I enjoyed every single drop of it!

The desert comes alive this time of year. As the cold and damp move into my world, I envy yours in this season.

I'm all for going back to that beauty of autumn. Especially as I woke up to snow Saturday and this morning.

My post was all ready to go this morning when it was raining but as soon as I hit the post key and looked up just as the clouds lifted and snow appeared. Just my luck.
A little strange and cold for our November but happy to have some rain.

cheers, parsnip

Glorious photos all, but I must admit that I keep going back to the mistletoe one...something about it just draws me inside of it...

Somehow I cannot imagine snow in a desert, although it shouldn't be surprising since its high up on mountains.

What a fabulous series of pictures for a person who has never stopped to think about fall in Arizona. I have learned a lot from your photos tonight. The butterflies and the flowers are lovely. And mistletoe....that is too cool. The steps are beautiful. What a wonderful contribution this week. genie
